The Modern Farm

A contemporary take on a traditional concept – this 5,000-square-foot farmhouse sits on several acres adjacent to a buffalo ranch. From the exterior, the materials are traditional and utilize a “farmhouse red” color siding contrasting with white trim. The interior takes a modern turn. With an open floor plan and minimalist detailing, the home functions as a comfortable living space for a young urban family. Much of the rear (north) façade is comprised of glazing, bringing in indirect light throughout the day.
